The Cardinal Gates Square & Round Clamp Kit offers a secure, damage-free way to mount safety gates to both square and round posts—perfect for homes where preserving woodwork and finishes is important. Crafted from solid wood, these clamps allow you to attach baby or pet gates without screws, drilling, or permanent alterations. Round Clamp: Designed to fit round posts from 2.125 inches to 3.75 inches in diameter. Square Clamp: Designed to fit square posts up to 3.5 inches wide. Each clamp delivers a sturdy, reliable hold, ensuring your gate stays firmly in place. For proper installation, two clamps are required on each side of the gate. Ideal for challenging setups such as banister-to-banister or banister-to-wall, this kit provides a clean, professional-looking solution for childproofing staircases or creating safe spaces for pets. AVOID SCREW HOLES IN YOUR BANISTER – No one likes to put screw holes in their fine woodwork. Our banister baby gate adapter lets you attach your gate to a post without damaging the post with screws. This contains 1 Square and 1 Round Clamp and you will need 2 clamps per side of your gate.

This kit includes one Round Clamp (fits round posts from 2.125″ to 3.75″ in diameter) and one Square Clamp (fits square posts up to 3.5″ wide), ensuring proper and stable installation on a variety of post types.
WORKS WITH CARDINAL GATES – The baby gate stair adapter is designed to work specifically with the Cardinal Gates wall mounted gates. While it may be compatible with select gates from other brands, please measure carefully before purchasing to ensure a proper fit. We have clamps for square posts (models SC and SCL), round posts (model RC), spindles (model SPC), and wrought iron posts (models WIK and WIKL).
